Problem Note 34858: The 'Export to Excel' process should allow for dynamic cell formatting
In SAS® Markdown Optimization, when a column value could be a range, the cells in the column are formatted as strings in the "Export to Excel" process even when a cell only contains a single value.
Since a very high percentage of these cells would be a single value, it makes sense to format those cells as numeric to allow for quicker ad hoc analysis.
A fix is planned for a future software release.
